Woodcarving shapes wood into specific forms or figures. Carvers use tools like knives, chisels, and gouges to do this. It is an ancient art technique that originated in the earliest civilizations worldwide. This process demands a lot of precision and patience. Carvers work with the grain of the wood to bring their vision into reality. Wood carving shows creativity and craftsmanship, from detailed sculptures to simple, functional items like spoons and furniture.
