Tingsha

The Tingsha cymbals are small, and people usually hold them in their hands. They use them to help with meditation and spiritual practices, especially in Tibetan Buddhism. These instruments are made of metal. They create a clear, high-pitched ringing sound when the two Tingsha cymbals hit each other. People believe that the ringing sound of the Tingsha clears the mind, improves focus, and brings good energy. Practitioners use these instruments in rituals and prayer services. This is a traditional practice. They ring them to begin or end meditation. People understand the beauty and symbolic meaning of tingsha. It symbolizes harmony and balance between opposites.
